Mindset Training
- A karate will always have DO first. Or the way.
- A Karate Sensei is always in Kaizen. ( To always improve)
- This means as athlete you are tracking your performance. This can be done with excel or notes with your coach.
- When you are tired you do more. When there are personal challenges, you make no excuses.
- This is because your enemy does not care, there is ONLY one gold medal.
- Calm your min and mediate in the morning before you start your day. Many of the most successful people on the planet meditate. Make it part of your life style.

- Jump Box / Jump of elevated Surface ( Park )
- Bands
- 5 Pound Resistance
- 10 Pound
- 15 Pound
- 20 Pound

Typical Schedule of an Karate Athlete
- MWF : Strength and conditioning
- THS: Plyo and cardio and track training
- Sunday Rest: Yoga meditation. Spiritual
- Early Morning Training / Conditioning
- Night Training / Sport ( Karate)
- Strategic Training ( Abilities of an athlete)
- The Understanding the game ( Know how to use the rules to win)
- Development is reliant, on the performance of the drill. Not on the duration.
- Sleep is necessary typically you should be resting 6-8 Hours a day.
- Propaganda such as TV, youtube or other things that can distract from the fight can lead you to losing the gold.
Environment of an Athlete
- Always communicating with high level athletes
- Surrounding yourself with people who are in the sport and mindset
- Surrounding yourself with coaches who understand the current game
- Surround yourself with an organization that has a championship mindset
- Volunteering in tournaments and judging to strengthen your understanding of the game
- Teaching in your dojo to sharpen your skills as an athlete
- Testing your mindset in real situations
