Biography
Sensei Lorenzo Sandoval
Here everyone,
I hate talking about myself so Id rather just speak to you about who I am and why I care about my community. I feel like a lot of martial artists often talk about themselves, and I just want to talk about my story and why you should choose us.
One of the things about me is that I care about our community I was born and raise in Las Vegas and I was raised by a single mother. I always promised myself I would create an environment that students would love and cherish while they learned martial arts here. I was born in Vegas and I had some amazing teachers, who were not only champions but taught me through martial arts I could become something strong and I could one day become something greater than myself. In 2015 I produced my first USA Karate athlete, and I have many few tournaments here and there and I was very fortunate to fight as an elite athlete for a number of years.
I was very fortunate to fight all around the world and train with the best. I had some amazing Karate instructors, who gave me the skills I could be to not only fight but to push through the hardest times. Martial Arts taught me that. I honestly focus less on myself and focus on the students that are with us. That is where my main concern is. When COVID-19 happened in 2020, we went online and my Karate training taught me how to be resourceful and be creative in the way I would teach Karate forever.
I love martial arts, and for the last 20 years, I’ve seen it change so many lives especially mine, and I am very lucky to teach it to so many great students and kids and I am in a position of privilege to help so many become great.
In my spare time I am actually a wedding photographer, you can find my work here www.lorenzosandoval.com I am also working on a video called ” The Desert Sensei” and I just love being in my marital rts school teaching my students martial arts but also life skills that will help them grow in to good people!
I hope to see you in class and get to know you more and thank you for reading my story!
