Best Activities for Kids in Las Vegas
Have you planned any activities for your children during their summer vacation? Worried that kids will spend their days pent up indoors, hooked to their devices, mingling with no one, and receiving little or no physical activity? If this is the case, we have a solution.
While Las Vegas may have a storied history and a moniker to match, “Sin City”, it is no longer only for adults. As a result of this diversification, the city now offers visitors a wide range of family-friendly entertainment, activities, and cultural experiences. The option of leaving your children at home is certainly an option—after all, who doesn’t need a weekend away now and then?—but it is not needed.
These fun, intriguing, and occasionally informative Las Vegas adventures will keep your children, and yourself occupied for hours on end:
Las Vegas Indoor Skydiving
Indoor skydiving is one of the things to do in Las Vegas with kids if you’re seeking family-friendly activities in the city. Some people find it scary, but it is perfectly safe, and there is a training session before going on the adventure.
There are precise weight requirements that must be satisfied for your body to generate the appropriate lift. These requirements include a minimum and maximum weight. On the other hand, people in good form are regarded to be those who are taller than 5’6″ and weigh more than 160 pounds.
The Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon, which is within driving distance, is well worth seeing for a day excursion during your Vegas vacation if time permits. If a whole day at the Canyon or a long journey is not appealing to your children, try choosing a speedier method of transportation—helicopter or aircraft excursions are available with half-day choices if you don’t have time for a full-day adventure.
Circus Circus
More fun than an amusement park/circus fusion! When it’s indoors so you can enjoy the rides and atmosphere no matter what the weather is. The Adventuredome at Circus Circus is a great way to cool off and have fun with the whole family. The indoor amusement park is 5 acres and has over 25 rides and attractions for all ages.
The older kids and adrenaline seekers will enjoy El Loco and NebluaZ. There are arcade games, midway games, and a mini-golf course for the little ones. The escape room challenge is also a wonderful family joint exercise. There are also free clown shows and, of course, the circus! At Circus Circus, you may see trapeze performers swing above your heads and other amazing stunts.
Shark Reef Aquarium
This is one of the most interesting family activities in Vegas for kids and adults. Sharks, enormous rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranhas, and even a Komodo dragon call the aquarium home. The aquarium’s unusual displays and touch tanks are great for kids, but the underwater viewing tunnel features some of the reef’s most popular and intriguing residents.
You may spend a whole day at Shark Reef Aquarium and even dive with sharks or feed endangered green sea turtles and unusual sharks. Tickets for this attraction sell out quickly and are accessible to everyone (not just hotel guests), so plan.
Hershey’s Chocolate World
What youngster (or adult) doesn’t like chocolate? The Hershey’s Chocolate World on the Las Vegas Strip will satisfy your sweet craving and make your kids happy (and maybe with a little bit of a sugar rush).
Hershey’s Chocolate World is a chocolate lover’s fantasy. The main store is roughly 13,000 square feet and features over 800 Hershey’s chocolates & sweets. Along with the sweets, you may find unique goods and presents that aren’t available elsewhere.
You can’t miss the Statue of Liberty sculpture constructed of over 800 lbs. of Hershey’s Milk Chocolate. You can’t go wrong with any memento, but one of the store’s specialties is a personalized chocolate bar! This attraction is genuinely unique, and your kids will be raving about it for months.
Discovery Children’s Museum
Most engaging and instructive of all Las Vegas family attractions is the Discovery Children’s Museum. You may easily spend a whole day at this fascinating museum with its three levels of fun and adventure. This attraction is unique in that it has displays for all ages.
Toddler Town, located in a calmer part of the Museum, is ideal for young learners and children of all ages with sensory difficulties. Then there’s Eco-City for youngsters, where they may live in their small city. Patents Pending is perfect for older kids who wish to develop and engineer in a fun lab setting. Your kid will have fun while learning via activities adapted to their age and development in any of the areas they choose to play.
