New Years Resolution

Martial Arts School in Las Vegas

As the new years continue to get closer for 2024 I wanted to go over some important things we will be doing to start off the new year to make our school even better and to work on things we missed for the karate school. I wanted to make a constant effort to make things better at our martial arts school and I wanted to show case and go over some of the important things that I hope will help our members and new members, or at least people looking into our school what to expect for the new year.

New Attendance Policy

At Ageless Martial Arts our goal is to ensure that all students improve throughout the years and get them to encourage becoming a black belt or in Japanese a ” Shodan”. The way we are going to do this is were going to log and keep record of each member by seeing who can come to class. We want to keep track of students so we can see who is eligible to belt test and is at least coming through the month so we can let them know if they have missed too many classes to test.

Students must come at least twice a month to meet minimum requirements.

This is not a recommended action to do, if it was up to us we want you to come at least 1-2 times per week and possibly more. But we realize stuff happens, family vacations, you get sick, or an emergency happens where you just cant make it to class.  As a martial arts school in Las Vegas my goal is to ensure by attending the classes on time and multiple times a week, is to improve the martial arts of our students and create consistency.

New Curriculum Updates :

New QR codes and resources for the Martial Arts Curriculum.

As we continue to grow in the location we have now, I have been getting lot of question’s of the curriculum. I will be posting a poster where the sitting area of the parent are and the front desk so they can scan and view both written and video from Youtube so you can watch the martial arts curriculum. Her are some basic updates we will be doing to make your Childs martial arts better over years your with us.

• We will add weapons to the white belt curriculum
• More sparring drills will be added
• Partner training where we are simulating in basics or fundamentals to practice it with a partner.
• More boxing and kickboxing techniques in Year 2-3
• Weapons will be taught in year 2 such as nunchucks, as well as other weapons
• More detail striping requirements
• New Curriculum videos in the spring of 2024
• Adding Brazilians Jiu Jitsu in the curriculum
• Create a more dynamic boxing work out that simulates continuous sparring

More Community Events at the Karate School

We will add more community Las Vegas Events for the martial arts school.

One of the things we didn’t do last sure was never added community event to from last year. We have done them in the past but my goal is to bring back as many as we can for this year in hope that it will bring our community together as a whole and families enjoy these events at our school. By using martial arts as a stepping stone to teach potential new members that it might them.  Here are some events we are planning to add for the year of 2024.

• Church involvement
• Cross business events with other businesses
• Focus Course
• Confident Course
• Anti Bully Course
• Free Picture with Santa ( 2024)

• Free Parents night out
• Birthday Parties

Free Make Up Classes

We will be adding more consistent make classes when  you miss a class.

As we continue to grow our goal is to serve you. So we will add more make up classes on the weekend so you can either earn your stripe during the classes that you have missed. This is only if your missing stripes or you feel like you have missed too many classes for belt testing.

Make up a Stripe during Belt Testing Review Month.

Students can  earn all striped during belt testing review month.

We know sometimes we can mess up. so if you need to review a stripe during your test you can see what you need to review right before your exam. This is done during ” Review Months” of the year when we are reviewing all the material for the belt before they graduate.

Re Shooting Curriculum Videos

New Curriculum Videos for Ageless Martial Arts coming in the Spring 2024.

As we continue my goal is to reshoot all of our curriculum videos for 2024. It’ll be some work but our goal is to have this resource so parents, kids and members can review all of this. We will most likely create a new youtube channel dedicated just for the curriculum so people can watch it and practice at home. We will be adding many new additions to the class digitally and create an app so you can access it.

I’m Not perfect. But I’m trying!

Its been a rough year for everyone it seems but I am extremely grateful we are still in business and without you guys , I wouldn’t be here.  I will continue to work hard to make our school better.
