Our Culture
As a martial arts school in Las Vegas, we have a variety of things that make us unique compared to other schools around the area. We are a hybrid school of both traditional and modern martial arts where tradition meets innovation. In retrospect, we are always trying to better our curriculum, and improve the mindsets of our students as a life-long endeavor.
Our culture revolves around the Bushido way, where mind and self-discipline as well as spirit is one. That we believe that the martial way, or the way of “Bushido” through hard work and perseverance creates substance in our lives and enriches us to look at the small details. That students, who devote themselves to study or practice can apply this in almost all aspect of their lives.
We want our students to be LEARNING, and through this offer a life skills curriculum in a positive environment that helps people of all ages have fun yet effective training methods to not just defend themselves, but also realize within themselves they are working on becoming something they never thought they would be.
Through Spirit and Heart
The will of a human being can be strong, and with your spirit and heart can increase your willingness to better yourself. We must stay humble yet work hard on our skills to fortify our spirit and give us purpose, but it is our spirit that last forever. We must forge this within the martial artist mindset so they understand that having a spirit of the will to fight, will eventually make us great in many aspects of our lives.
The Way of the Ageless Bushido
In ancient ways of Japan, the Japanese people had a different mindset of instilling details in their culture and in their beliefs. When learning Japanese martial arts, all of our students learn this mindset from technique in each mindset that they do. What makes us unique as a culture is the ability that we must see the small details of our movements and also apply that outside of the dojo. The Bushido Way or “ The Martial Way” is the idea that discipline through learning how to hone your skills makes you a better person through hard work.
